Justin Bieber has followed his debut fragrance Someday with a more mature scent titled Girlfriend.
“It has some of the same scents to it, but older. It’s going to be a great fragrance, and I think people are going to like it a lot,” 18 year old Justin told WWD.
Girlfriend is described as having a “flirty sophistication” with top notes of sparkling pear, crisp mandarin and rich blackberry, hints of pink freesia, star jasmine, apricot nectar and orange blossom, with a touch of vanilla orchid and luminous musk.
As with Someday, Girlfriend has a charitable component benefiting Pencils of Promise. “The whole point of the fragrance was to give back and add a charitable component to my fragrance. That’s why we teamed up with Give Back,” explains Justin.
A campaign to promote Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend, a new women’s fragrance, will include print ads but will focus on social media like Tumblr and Twitter. His Twitter feed is followed by almost 22.9 million people
